DESCRIPTION:Under the high patronage of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia,  On 20 April, the African Village Institute, in cooperation with the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, will organize an accompanying cultural programme of the 12th International Conference of Africa Day, which takes place annually before the establishment of the Organization of African Unity, later renamed the African Union.\n\nThe African Village Institute We dedicate ourselves to the integration of African immigrants into Slovenian society. Through our programmes and initiatives, we provide support and resources to help immigrants adapt to the new environment and establish important ties in the local community. We believe that by promoting cultural understanding and cooperation, we can create a more harmonious and inclusive society for all.\n\nThe 12th International Africa Day Conference will take place on 20 and 21 April 2023 organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On this occasion, the African Village Institute will also organize several different cultural events under the title African\nCulture Day on 20 April 2023.\n\nThe events will:\n➤ 11:00-20:00 AFRICAN MARKET AT NOVI TRG IN THE CENTRE OF LJUBLJANA, WHERE WE WILL PRESENT VARIOUS AFRICAN SHOPS, VENDORS AND BUSINESSES,\n➤ 16:00–16:45– AFRICAN DANCE WORKSHOPS, WHERE THOMAS CLAUDE Kombia, Choreographer and Dancer will be.\n➤ 17:00–17:45 – AFRICAN DRUM WORKSHOPS WHERE SANOU ISSIAKA WILL BE\n\n➤ ➤ ➤ MAIN ACCOMPANYING CULTURAL PROGRAMME, 20 April 2023 (Novi Trg, Ljubljana)On the\nmain cultural stage in Novi trg in Ljubljana, various African singers, singers, dancers and drummers will introduce us.
